Rebeca Johnson is a senior marketing, advertising, and sales executive and former Chief Marketing Officer with over 25 years of experience spanning CPG, restaurants, entertainment, and non-profit organizations. She is passionate about driving revenue, building brands, and developing people.

As a senior executive for the Community Health and Development Team, Becky leadsthe digital transformation and direct response marketing for the enterprise.

Since joining, the AHA in 2018, Becky has led the charge in re-imagining the organization’s signature school fundraising program, evolving the legacy jump rope program with 40 years of rich history into the dynamic Kids Heart Challenge. AHA’s work in schools helps 19 million students learn the benefits of heart health and community service, raising more than $80 million each year to advance the association’s mission. In addition, her business unit delivered over $300MM to the AHA during her tenure.

Becky’s corporate experiences include Chief Marketing and Sales Officer for Main Event Entertainment, Chief Marketing and Culinary Officer for Applebee’s Bar and Grill, and various roles within the PepsiCo/Frito-Lay/Yum organization over a 16-year tenure, culminating as Vice President and General Manager for the $3.2 billion Cheetos and Doritos brands.

Becky received her Bachelor of Applied Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University and is a graduate of the Harvard School of Business. She earned her master’s degree in digital marketing from Wake Forest University.

She serves on the Board of Directors for the privately held Alex Lee Family of Companies and public company, Braemar Hotels. She also serves as an advisor for The North Texas Food Bank, a 501-C non-profit organization.

Becky has three grown children and lives with her husband of 39 years on their 22-acre ranchette in Athens, Texas, 90 miles southeast of Dallas, Texas.
